Mini Clay & Cream Tea Event (Wed Oct 15 at 6:30pm)

CRAFTING EVENT - clay miniature tea cakes!

Join us on Wednesday October 15th at 6:30pm to create a clay miniature tea tray! Enjoy a "Cream Tea" at Queen of Hearts Tea House while you're crafting. Kiana from Miniature Veg will teach us how make mini tea items! You will learn some of the basics of creating miniature foods with polymer clay. Together we will mix clay to achieve realistic colours, shape the pieces and add details using clay & clay tools, and bake them together.

You will take home a suite of little tea cakes & scones and the skills to continue exploring polymer clay miniatures miniatures! All supplies will be provided.

Space is limited so please purchase your ticket today if you'd like to craft with us!

The cost is $50 per person. This price includes

• a clay molding lesson
• all materials & supplies to make 6 mini tea cakes (tray not included)
  
• a pot of hot tea (decaffeinated options available)
• a large scone with clotted cream and fruit jam

While you're crafting, you'll be served a "Cream Tea" (a large scone with clotted cream & strawberry jam along with a pot of hot tea).  No experience required - just bring your creativity and curiosity.  The event starts at 6:30pm and is expected to last around 2 hours, ending at 8:30pm. Please note: polymer clay miniatures are difficult to make with long nails. This class is best suited for folks ages 10+.

Please order as a group (one order per table grouping) so we can arrange the seatings accordingly. However, if you prefer to purchase separately, please add your friends' names to the Notes section at check-out so we can seat you together. If you want to come a single, no problem - we can find you some new tea friends!
