GIFT CARDS

 

Q: DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS OR GIFT CERTIFICATES?

A: Yes, we have e-gift cards. You can purchase them here. They are purchased on our old website. A long gift card number is sent to you via email (or directly to the recipient if you so choose) upon purchase. 

Q: HOW DOES ONE REDEEM A GIFT CARD?

You may redeem a gift card in our shop for dine-in or gifts without issue.  If you want to redeem your gift card online, for a to-go Tea, please email us to get the unique link to redeem the gift card online. The gift cards will not work on this website; please email us.

Q: DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL GIFT CARD I CAN GIVE TO MY RECIPIENT?

A: Yes, we have a physical post-card (branded with our logos etc.) you can write on to give to your recipient. We are not at the shop during regular hours so please email us to arrange a time to come pick one up if you wish (we are usually open Fri, Sat, Sun but not always). You will still receive an electronic emailed gift card code but we have a branded postcard you can write the code onto.

Q: HOW CAN I CHECK THE BALANCE OF MY GIFT CARD?

A: You can check the remaining balance of a gift card here by putting the long gift card number in the blank. Click the "My gift card does not have a pin" box.

LOYALTY CARDS

Q: HOW DOES ONE REDEEM THE FULL 4-OF-A-KIND LOYALTY CARDS?

A: Each complete loyalty card entitles you to one Afternoon Tea-to-go for pick-up; since our teas-to-go are done in sets of 2's, you will need two complete cards to redeem. You will not be able to redeem these cards on Valentines weekend (Feb 11-14) nor any special events in March 2022 (ie. St.Patricks, Downton Abbey etc). You may only redeem your cards for our regular "Tea to go for Two" (all teas at a $60 value). The loyalty program cards will end March 31, 2022. As of December 10th we will no longer be giving out new cards but you can still collect stamps on your existing loyalty cards.

Once you have two (2) full loyalty cards (with either stamps or stickers), please do the following:

  1. Write one name per person on each card, as indicated on the card.
  2. Take a photo of the backside of the cards (2).
  3. Email the photo to us (contact info).
  4. Using our website as a reference for available dates and tea options, let us know in the email (a) when you'd like to pickup for your tea-to-go (b) what teas and (c) which scone accompaniments (if applicable) you would like. We will confirm via email with you.
  5. BRING YOUR TWO (2) COMPLETE CARDS WITH YOU WHEN YOU PICK-UP/DINE-IN AS YOUR FORM OF PAYMENT.

 

BRIDAL/BABY SHOWERS & GROUPS

Q: DO YOU HOST SHOWERS?  HOW DO SHOWER AND LARGER GROUPS WORK FOR AFTERNOON TEA PARTIES?

A: Yes! We can host bridal showers, baby showers, or "larger" groups for other occassions! Groups of 7 or less can use our reguar form for reservations. We can seat about 14 people along the red bench in our tea room (provided they are all part of the same group) and pre-payment is required for groups of 8+ people. All reservations are limited to 90 minutes, unless discussed ahead of time.

Here are the details on pre-payment: For groups of 8+ people, we will require a 50% deposit at least 14 days before the event date to hold the tables for you (the total cost for Afternoon Tea is $35 + HST + 15% gratuity PER PERSON). Final numbers and final payment are required 4 days before the event date and you will be charged for the total number you give us. Should someone in your party be unable to attend on the day of, after full payment has been completed, we will package the serving of food & tea as a to-go package. Sorry, there will be no refunds after full payment is received. We apologize for any inconvenience but we will be turning away other customeers to seat your larger group so we have found this is the best method for managing larger groups.

Our absolute maximum capacity is around 25 people (provided the table groupings allow us to maintain the required distancing between tables). if you wanted to book the entire space, please email us to discuss.

GLUTEN FREE & ALLERGIES

Q DO YOU HAVE GLUTEN FREE FOODS?  HOW DO YOU SUPPORT FOOD ALLERGIES?

A: We do not have gluten free foods and each tier includes a lot of gluten-rich foods. We are sorry but there just is not enough demand to create a entirely gluten free menu each week. There are several Gluten Free food options in our region (eg. Winnie's Gluten Free, Cafe Pyrus, and Gluten Free By Suzie).

We can not accommodate dairy-free as our scones are full of dairy and we use cheese in our savory items. We can likley accommodate a "less dairy" option if you let us know in advance.

We can accommodate vegatarian only foods, if you let us know in advance. We can accommodate a nut-free order, if you let us know in advance. There may be other allergies we can accommodate, please contact us to discuss directly.

OPENING & PATIO

Q: ARE YOU OPEN FOR DINE-IN? WILL YOU HAVE A PATIO?

A: No, we have no plans to install an out-door patio. We are taking reservation requests for dine-in here. We are following all public health guidelines.
