We've been expecting you! You are cordially invited to our Downton Abbey Afternoon Tea Party for two people TO-GO on March 5 (SOLD OUT), 6 (SOLD OUT), and 7th! If you're a fan of our favourite show, you will certainly enjoy this one! Our own Mrs.Patmore has created a special mixed menu featuring tasty goodies that would be enjoyed by both the upstairs family and downstairs family. How fun! There will be several classic British recipes to be enjoyed. Will you prefer the fare of the upstairs or downstairs tea time??? Have Carson and your various footmen set-up your fancy dishes, finest silver service, and tea cups. Have Mrs.Hughes arrange the seating cards and have your lady maid or valet press your best frocks and threads. Make an at-home event to remember; you're sure to have a grand time!
Your Downton Abbey Afternoon Tea To-Go ($85 total) for two people includes:
- 5 Savouries each (eg. finger sandwiches) (10 total)
- 1 Traditional Cream Scone each (2 total) Different scones than our regular scones!
- House-made Clotted Cream & Fruit Jam (2 total to share)
- 4 Sweets each (8 total) including delicious house-made Battenburg Cake!
- One Official Downton Abbey® tea tin (36 tea bags); add more tea tins below if you like (Read about the tea tin options, opens new window)
- Themed napkins and place cards for the Ladies and Lords!
This experience includes pick-up at our shop, or limited delivery is available, at a cost based on your distance from our shop. You may choose your pick-up time slot but deliveries will be grouped together and your delivery time will be emailed to you the night before (between 11am-2pm) on the date you choose.
Sorry but we are unable to accommodate food allergies, sensitivities or preferences for this tea as our Mrs.Patmore has a very full menu to prepare for this grand event. Note: 2 of the 5 savories will include meat.
